Melanie Gobert

Melanie Gobert, EdD, is an the faculty of Abu Dhabi Men’s College. She has been teaching in the Arabian Gulf for 20 years. Her undergraduate degree is in English Composition. She has a Master’s in Applied Linguistics/TESOL and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. She is the editor of Perspectives, the TESOL Arabian peer-reviewed ELT journal. She was the recipient of an Emirates Foundation Grant in 2009 for a study on “Enhancing National Identity Through Indigenous Literature.” She has published and presented widely in the Arab World.
